It was the perfect day, clouds covered the sun rays and kept the heat at bay and no jackets were needed. Guests were greeted by shades of blue, red and white. Not too casual and not to fancy, the perfect mix of style to create a welcoming environment to celebrate the coming of a special little baby boy!
The mother-to-be knew she wanted a Vintage Circus Theme, bright and colorful, so we took the traditional blue white and red and added turquoise to make the color combination more vibrant.
There were games, prizes, carnival food and ALL! Music played in the background as family and friends caught up with each other and new friendships were made.
We wanted guests to feel like they were meeting under the Big Top so it was important to have the circus presentation solid when they pulled into the parking lot and walk up to the entrance. Guests were greeted by colorful signs welcoming them to the baby shower.
Since the venue did not allow a tent we opted for a colorful array of pipe and drape to give the look of a Big Top!
It took about 3 dozen carnations to fill these popcorn boxes, but they were the perfect touch for the table centerpiece. Blank note cards with instructions to write words of wisdom, encouragement or advise for the Mom-to-Be were left on each table.
The buttered popcorn hydrangeas were my favorite!! I love how the flower hung over the side of the popcorn box!
Not only was the cake super cute, but it was delicious!! I thought we would have cake left over since we had so many sweets but once guests had a taste and began to rave everyone wanted cake!
The sweet table was a hit and we were so pleased with the outcome. We had traditional caramel apples, customized cookie that were not only pretty, but also delicious; and everyone love the popcorn!!
Guests LOVED the prizes in these cute jars! There were game booths, raffle tickets and traditional shower games for all to enjoy. These themed jars varied from Starbucks to Travel and everyone played to win!
For lunch guests had Hot Dog on a Stick and made Nachos they created from the Nacho Bar. There was also a variety of fruit for guests to choose from.

The Coolhaus Ice Cream Truck Delivered on the spot ice cream sandwiches. choose your cookie, choose your ice cream!
For dessert the Coolhaus Truck made ice cream sandwiches for all! Plus we had all those treats from the sweet table and cake. Talk about a sugar high!!

Ice cream sandwiches were soooo good! You can even eat the edible wrapper!
So there you have it! I loved planning this Vintage Themed Circus Baby Shower. Mission accomplished, The clients were happy, the guests were excited and that’s exactly what we want to do! Create great memorable events that people are talking about for years to come.
Eventfully your’s,
Jennifer
